Welcome
Samantha White Speech Pathology provides a range of services to support children and young people who have communication and/or swallowing impairment arising from a range of severe physical and multiple disabilities.
Samantha provides a mobile service, enabling therapy and supports to be provided in the child’s natural environment. These natural learning environments at home, in the community and in educational settings contain many opportunities for all children to engage, participate, learn and practice skills, thereby maximising their development.
Samantha works closely with individuals, their family, carers and support team, health professionals and education staff. Coaching and close collaboration is provided to build the capacity of those who spend the most time with the child/young person in order to have as great an impact as possible on their communication, learning and development.
Samantha is passionate about providing services that are best practice, evidence-based and family centered. She has extensive experience in the assessment and implementation of Assistive Technology for communication, including Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems (electronic and non-electronic and direct and alterative access). She also has a wealth of experience working with children who have complex feeding difficulties, including tube feeding.
